Nordplus project Sustainability: Global Problems and Local Solutions. Students’ conference in Denmark Odsherred, 7-12 April 2024: Sustainable Food Production. Day 2
Tuesday the 9th of April (day 2)
The day started with a visit to Dansk Tang - Seaweed. The students were
given a presentation of the business model of Dansk Tang, the concept of
sustainable food production and how seaweed is grown in ‘seaweed fields’ in
Isefjorden.
After the visit at Dansk Tang, the students continued to Fårevejle,
where Campus Odsherred has its school within food (and carpentry). With chef
and teacher Theis Lynge Petersen, the students made a sustainable meal which
they enjoyed together.
